Distinguished Lecturers Series Features Barry Lopez
National Book Award Winner to Speak April 13
National Book Award–winning author Barry Lopez will present “The Writer and Social Responsibility” on April 13 as part of the Friends of Crow Canyon Distinguished Lecturers Series. The lecture is at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Avenue, Durango, Colorado, at 7:30. Wine and appetizers begin at 7:00.
Barry Lopez is the well known author of Arctic Dreams and Of Wolves and Men and many other works of fiction and nonfiction.
