We wanted to rally and rally we did.  Though it rained and poured, our volunteers, students from CC Blaney Elementary School and their chaperons all enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Bee City, a local Bee Farm and Petting Zoo. 

On Saturday, March 3rd, we met at CC Blaney, loaded into the vehicles and we were off.  Students had to search for clues and answer questions in order to guide their drivers through miles and miles of back roads to find our final destination.  After a few wrong turns and more than our fair share of mud, everyone arrived safely at Bee City.  Once there we all enjoyed a tour of the grounds and a presentation from the staff about all the different animals they have on site. 

Each child filled a Honey Bear and poured a wax mold to take home.  Lunch and a wonderful presentation on Bees by the knowledgeable staff concluded our day.
