The 2012 Range Rover Evoque Coupe flat-out steals the show wherever it drives or parks. For truly standing apart, choose the Evoque Coupe “Dynamic,” which puts a bold, athletic accent on this unique four-wheel drive machine while keeping the brand’s renowned luxury in focus.

The 2012 Range Rover Evoque offers a choice between a five-door model and a coupe, something no other luxury crossover or SUV does. From there, you can choose between the “Pure” and Dynamic” versions, the latter adding exclusive design features, a more sports-oriented attitude and even more luxury for an MSRP of $52,045.

The Range Rover Evoque Coupe shares its mechanical makeup with the five-door version, but tempts with a more rakish stance. The sportier posture is no illusion, as the coupe roof comes up an inch lower than the Evoque five-door model’s roof and uses longer doors and single-piece rear side glass. Inside, you can complete the coupe experience by choosing the Rear Two-Seat Package at no extra charge.

A high-tech, 240-hp turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine gets this luxury crossover coupe from zero-to-60 mph in just 7.1 seconds. Efficient machine that it is, and paired with an equally high-tech six-speed automatic transmission, the engine delivers a 28-mpg highway fuel economy rating. Selecting “Sport” mode sharpens transmission response. Paddleshifters give you control of shifting for an even more engaging driving experience.

Not a vehicle for those who like to blend in, the Range Rover Evoque Coupe looks especially evocative in its Dynamic variant. Unique bumpers, grille, tailpipes and doorsills amp up the chiseled lines. Choose from body color or contrasting white, silver or Santorini black roof and spoiler. With any choice, the panoramic glass roof panel lets in plenty of light. Inside, the distinctly premium interior features darker colors with bright contrast accents.

Perforated leather seats and a number of other luxury and technology features come with the Dynamic version as well. As part of the added premium content in the Range Rover Evoque Coupe Dynamic, you’ll find the Surround Camera System with Towing Assist including Hitching Guidance, and load-space stowage rails. Blind Spot Monitoring adds an extra measure of safety to daily driving.

The black exterior mirrors on the Range Rover Evoque Coupe Dynamic do more than just accent the 12 available colors. They’re power-adjustable, of course, but also power folding and heated. Plus, the mirrors integrate directional signals and puddle lamps. When you shift the vehicle into reverse, the mirrors automatically dip to aid in parking. The interior rear-view mirror likewise provides additional function, in this case, a HomeLink® universal transmitter for operating garage doors and entry gates.

The Evoque is first and foremost a Range Rover, and as such it must offer go-anywhere capability. An automatic intelligent four-wheel drive system apportions power between the front and rear wheels as needed. Like all Range Rover models, the Evoque puts more control in your hands with the Terrain Response® system. You select the drive mode depending on road surface conditions including sand, mud, ruts, grass, gravel and snow. Terrain Response seamlessly manages how the engine, transmission, four-wheel drive and traction and stability systems work together to deliver optimal handling and traction for that particular condition.

Should you encounter a stream, or simply come up against standing water on the road, keep in mind that the Range Rover Evoque Coupe can wade in water nearly 20 inches deep. And yes, with its intelligent four-wheel drive, Terrain Response and an approach angle of up to 25 degrees, the Range Rover Evoque can take you back to nature.

Like the Range Rover Sport, the Range Rover Evoque Coupe Dynamic offers the available Adaptive Dynamics system for the sportiest performance. The package adds MagneRide shock absorbers, which continuously and automatically respond to road conditions to give you the best balance of agile handling and smooth ride comfort. Adaptive Dynamics also adds a “Dynamic” mode to the Terrain Response system, which provides even tighter body control and heightened agility.

Come in and see how the luxurious 2012 Range Rover Evoque Coupe Dynamic truly delivers a “dynamic” design and driving experience.
