We're pretty sure you're probably fairly familiar with South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin. Well, Third String Productions is bringing the party to North Texas at QuikTrip Park out in Grand Prairie with South By So WHAT?! Visit any Southwest Kia location for tickets with a test drive! We're very excited to be involved with this incredible music festival! Find us there, Saturday March 17th, 2012. Doors open at 11am!
It’s hard to believe that THIRD STRING PRODUCTIONS has been doing concerts for 8 years now and that this is the 5th year of South By So What?! This festival IS NOT a stab at SXSW, but simply an opportunity for Dallas residents to enjoy a variety of the talent headed to SXSW when they wouldn’t otherwise be able to. It’s also a great way to save concertgoers money. Instead of paying for half a dozen small shows, we combine them all and give people the opportunity to see over 60 bands for under $50! South By So What?! is all about getting a bang for one's buck, and it succeeds every year in bringing a great list of bands for a reasonable price. It also coincides with the industry-heavy South By Southwest festitvies in Austin, giving fans a real alternative. No badges required.
