Connoisseurs of automotive style and performance have even more reason to celebrate with the arrival of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupes. Embodying decades of the brand’s luxury coupe mastery, the captivating 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe models exude power, style and athleticism.
'
The new C-Class Coupe, in C250, C350 and C63 AMG versions, starts at an MSRP of $37,220 and brings a sporty new edge to the Mercedes-Benz Coupe tradition. Most remarkable, perhaps, is that the 2012 C-Class Coupes bring their rich blend of heritage, modern performance, high technology and impeccable luxury to the discerning driver at such an accessible price.

While the 2012 C-Class Coupes draw on the C-Class Sedans for a mechanical foundation, they tempt the eye with their own distinctive design and tell the heart, “This is the one.” Mercedes-Benz started with classic coupe proportions – a long hood and short rear deck, joined by a sweeping roofline that some might say recalls classic “fastbacks.” A more swept-back windshield than on the C-Class Sedans joins a roofline that’s 1.5 inches lower than the sedans’. Bold wheel arches cover sporty 17- or 18-inch alloy wheel designs while the lowered AGILITY CONTROL suspension further underscores the performance-tuned attitude of these striking new Mercedes-Benz Coupes. The wheels come in a “staggered” array, a racing-derived practice that enhances agility.

To enjoy one of the best views of the all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, look at the car from a rear three-quarter angle. From that vantage point, the impact of the standard panorama glass roof on the car’s design becomes immediately apparent. The roof, with nearly twice the coverage of a standard-type sunroof, includes a tilt/slide front section, along with a stationary rear section for the two rear-seat passengers. Dual independent sunshades let occupants control light entry through the glass roof. When the shades are open, the special heat-rejecting glass helps maintain interior comfort.

As with the E-Class, CL-Class and now C-Class Coupes, Mercedes-Benz shows that it knows the hearts of coupe drivers. That becomes immediately apparent inside the C-Class Coupe, which offers four sport seats and no pretense of trying to play the role of a sedan. The flat-bottom, three-spoke steering wheel reflects the brand’s racing and sports car pedigree. Its perforated leather grips and aluminum trim reflect the design input of true driving enthusiasts.

The steering wheel puts the most in-demand technology at the driver’s fingertips. Its 12 buttons provide convenient access to operate the onboard audio and infotainment systems and vehicle settings. Within the classic-looking speedometer sits a 4.5-inch color screen to display all functions accessible by the buttons.

Performance-oriented powertrains exceed driver expectations. Choose from the C250 with a new turbocharged 201-hp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine; the C350 with a new 302-hp 3.5-liter V6 and the heart-pumping C63 AMG with a 451-hp 6.3-liter V8 and a penchant for devouring roads.

The new C250 offers perhaps the biggest surprise. Its high-tech new engine delivers a substantial punch from 229 lb/ft of torque available from 2,200 to 4,300 rpm. Backed by a new, more efficient seven-speed automatic transmission with paddleshifters, the turbo engine can whisk the C250 Coupe from zero-to-60 mph in just about seven seconds. The C350 Coupe gets there in just 5.9 seconds. More tellingly, the strong mid-range torque of these engines makes overtaking slower traffic a breeze.

You can expect the latest in infotainment technology onboard the 2012 C-Class Coupes including Bluetooth® for hands-free phone use and audio streaming, as well as a USB port for iPod® connectivity, all easily accessed from a 5.8-inch color touchscreen. Or, choose the available COMAND system, which combines voice control, a seven-inch color display, hard-drive-based navigation, 10GB of music storage and an SD card slot. Plus, you can keep playing your older music collection with a six-disc CD/DVD changer. Add the available SiriusXM system for real-time traffic and weather information, displayed on the navigation map.

Along with all their style, performance and luxury, the 2012 C-Class Coupes also deliver renowned Mercedes-Benz safety including a standard ATTENTION ASSIST feature that can alert the driver to the first signs of drowsiness.

There’s nothing sleepy about the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupes, though. Come in and see these exciting models today.
