Texterity has been selected as a regular member of the Association of American Publishers (AAP). The AAP, headed by former U.S. Representative Patricia Schroeder, is the organization representing the book publishing industry. Texterity recently participated in the Professional and Scholarly Publishing Annual Conference 2001, demonstrating its advanced Open eBook automated conversion technology to the attendees.

Texterity works with the New Core Technologies Committee, which was established to direct AAP's efforts to help the membership both identify technologies and encourage development of such technologies to facilitate publishing in the electronic network environment. The Committee is following the work of both the Open E-book standard and the Electronic Book Exchange standards group.
