Introducing the New Skyward Customer Forum

Skyward has launched a new customer forum as a resource for Skyward customers and Skyward employees to come together and share their software knowledge. Building on the excellent networking opportunities available at user group conferences, the customer forum expands interaction to a year-round environment.

The Skyward forum will allow you to share information and documents, discover better ways of using the system and receive insight from other districts about how they are using the Skyward products. While not a replacement for service calls, your participation in the forum will help us build a network of Skyward users who can help others with suggestions on best practices, share training documents or brainstorm new ideas. The ultimate goal for the forum is to share ideas and knowledge to allow you to do your job more efficiently and effectively.

A variety of employees from Skyward will be playing an active role on the forum as well. Employees will be posting information about new features and events, sharing best practices and contributing to the discussions wherever they can.

What information is on the forum?
The forum currently has a variety of topics available, including:
  • Student Management Suite
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • System Administration
  • Skyward General Discussions
  • IT Services
  • State Specific topics area
  • We will be expanding these categories as we identify new areas or modules that can split off to their own topic.

    What can you do?
    You can participate in discussions regarding Skyward’s Software and Services with Skyward employees and other customers today. Just like your ideas help make the software better through the RFE process, your ideas and participation are what will make the forum successful.

  • Contests where forum participants vote on the winner

  • New Technology discussions
  • Who can join?
    The forum is only for current Skyward customers and employees. To take part in the Skyward forum you will need to register using your school email address.

    How do you find the forum?
    You can access the forum in three different ways. Once you arrive, you will need a login and password for access which you can register directly off the login page to receive yours.

    1. From within your Skyward software - Click on the help button to access the SkyDoc documentation screen. At the top of the screen, click on the tab labeled Skyward Forums.

    2. From the Skyward website – www.skyward.com – Click on the Skyward forums icon in the upper right corner of the Skyward website.

    3. Direct access. Click on this link or copy and paste it into your browser and save as a favorite. forum.skyward.com
