imedia inc. has been acquired by Tihuma Digital, Inc., a full service web and mobile development and technical consulting company. The new company will use the trade name imedia inc. and will continue to be based in the imedia offices in Parsippany, NJ. The company has assumed all existing client agreements.



The two companies have overlapping service offerings, but each brings something unique to the merger. Both have extensive web design and development experience and are Ektron Content Management Premiere Partners. Tihuma Digital provides mobile custom solutions as well as working with companies to develop and implement social networking and IT strategies. imedia has a deep performing arts portfolio and comprehensive experience in integrating box office software into the web experience. The new company is owned by the three founders of Tihuma Digital, Joel Macaluso, who will serve as CEO, Chuck Titone, who will be VP, Business Development and COO, and John Huffstutler, who will be VP, Client Services and CIO. See the related article for a profile of the new owners of imedia.
