On August 6, the Summer of Saladmaster program will host a world-wide “Gawad Kalinga Day” (GK 777). On this special day, for every salad we cut and for every dinner we book from every Dealership around the world Saladmaster will donate to GK777. As we’re bringing healthy eating and cooking information to people around the world by cutting salads and booking dinners, we will also be bringing homes and hope to those suffering in the Philippines.

 

GK777 is a Philippine-based poverty alleviation and nation-building movement. The goal of the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation is to end poverty for 5-million families by the year 2024. By building homes for families and creating communities empowered by people with faith and patriotism, this development foundation is dedicated to eradicating poverty and restoring human dignity. For every $2,800 donated we can sponsor a home for a family!
