Kia is committed to providing buyers feature-packed automobiles that are as great a value in the future as they are now. That means constructing vehicles that perform reliably for years to come, but it also means providing consumers with one of the best warranties available from any automaker anywhere. Kia provides its buyers with an impressive amount of coverage that goes beyond the company’s now famous 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

The Limited Powertrain Warranty means that, in the event of a mechanical problem, your Kia will be taken care of by the people who know Kia best – qualified, factory-trained service technicians. The guarantee covers certain engine and transmission components manufactured and installed by Kia, and if any repairs need to be made, they’ll be taken care of with quality Kia parts. In comparison, Toyota only offers its customers a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.

Kia also protects its buyers with a five-year/60,000-mile Limited Basic Warranty, which covers any defective materials or workmanship originally installed by the automaker. Once again, Kia has gone above and beyond the competition; Honda covers its vehicles for just three years or 36,000 miles, and even luxury manufacturer Lexus only protects its products for four years or 50,000 miles.

When it comes to rust, Kia doesn’t mess around either. Every new vehicle that Kia sells is covered by an extensive Anti-Perforation warranty for five years or 100,000 miles. The guarantee ensures that buyers won’t have to worry about corrosion for the foreseeable future.

Finally, Kia is one of the few manufacturers to offer complimentary 24-hour Roadside Assistance with Trip Interruption Protection. If you run out of fuel, need help with a flat tire, lock your keys in your vehicle or need a jump-start at any point in the first five years or 60,000 miles, Kia will be there to help. Automakers like Toyota, Honda and Nissan don’t even offer complimentary roadside assistance, but Kia takes it one step further.

Should any warranty-covered trouble crop up 150 miles or more from your home and take more than 24 hours to correct, Kia will provide up to $100 per day for meals, lodging or a rental car. The coverage ensures that owners and their families will be able to get where they’re going, even if a mechanical issue arises.

Kia offers a comprehensive warranty package standard with every vehicle it sells. From the inclusive Limited Basic Warranty to the extensive Limited Powertrain Warranty and thorough Anti-Perforation Warranty, the company gives consumers yet another reason to take a good look at its products when it comes time to buy a new vehicle.
