East End Historic District Tour was recently established to show visitors some of Galveston’s most beautiful neighborhoods, as well as initiate a new type of eco-friendly tour. Transportation is provided by quiet

electric vehicles, so you’ll be doing Mother Nature a favor while also hearing your tour guide loud and clear. Guests will see historic architecture and tree carvings created after Hurricane Ike. Departing from Ashton Villa, tours run every Saturday and last for one hour. Private tours are available for groups of five or more by calling 409-765-8687.
