Winter Wonderland Kick Off
Saturday, Nov. 20, 6 - 9 PM
Falls Park, Sioux Falls

Winter Wonderland at Falls Park is a dazzling display of lights and holiday festivities for all ages. Falls Park will continue to “light up” nightly through January 9, 2011. Watch the flipping of the switch! Winter Wonderland at Falls Park kicks off November 20, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. Children can visit Santa & Mrs. Claus. This event is Free for the entire family! Park downtown and ride the Trolley to Falls Park. (Parking at Falls Park is very limited.)

Jingle Bell Run
Friday, Nov. 26, 6:45 - 7:20 PM
Phillips & Falls Park

This event will take place at 6:45 prior to the Parade of Lights on Phillips Avenue starting at 13th & Phillips going down to Falls Park and then back. Choose from a 5K run or one-mile walk route. Write an inspirational message on the Wall of Heroes. Wear a Jingle Bell Run/Walk “hero” hat if you have arthritis. Raise $100 or more to earn Jingle Bell Run/Walk runners hat. Enjoy the fun, festivities and free health information.

Parade of Lights
Friday, Nov. 26, 7:30 - 8:30 PM
Phillips Avenue from 14th Street to 5th Street.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m.on Friday, November 26th, dazzling lighted holiday floats and music will flood historic Phillips Avenue from 14th Street to 5th Street. The 19th Annual Parade of Lights is the official start to the downtown holiday season! This is an excellent opportunity for your business, organization, church group, or family and friends to showcase your creativity as you prepare for the holiday season.
