To celebrate The Lewer Agency’s 54 years in business, "Lewer Lifers" are participating in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides 5k Walkathon, October 23, in Kansas City, Missouri.
This year’s theme is Making Strides toward a World with More Birthdays. Community and wellness are integral values at The Lewer Agency and, as expressed by Making Strides organizer and Lewer HR manager, Kathy Houston, “What better time than our anniversary month to show our support for such an important cause!”

“Anyone can participate in the Making Strides event,” says Kathy. “The success of the Making Strides walk depends on individuals who commit to actively supporting the American Cancer Society. Bring your spouse, children, friends, neighbors, and classmates!”

Lewer Charitable Fund administrators have designated a match for funds raised by Lewer Lifers.
“We hope we have a large number of supporters who will join us for this inspiring event to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and to help save lives,” said Kathy. “With every step we take, we’ll be giving people facing breast cancer more birthday candles to light.”
