To help meet this need, Rotary Lift has developed a new American Institute of Architects (AIA) accredited online, interactive training course for architects, “Sustainability and Vehicle Maintenance Lifts.”
The course reviews the various kinds of vehicle lifts currently available and the environmental considerations surrounding them. The primary focus is on environmentally friendly inground lifts. The course covers the evolution of vehicle lifts, technologies that protect the environment, sustainable alternatives, and safety considerations when specifying vehicle lifts. At the conclusion of the course, an architect should be comfortable making informed, code-compliant vehicle lift recommendations that also address dealers’ environmental concerns.
