New car shoppers now have more reasons than ever to visit their local Honda dealership. In addition to a comprehensive lineup of safe and proven vehicles, the Japanese automaker has recently announced price cuts on their most popular models—intending to offer their shoppers even more value.
“Now that confidence in the Canadian economy seems to be improving, we want to keep that momentum going," says Jerry Chenkin, Executive Vice President of Honda Canada Inc. "So as part of our commitment to Canadians, we have decided to create more value for our customers with a series of price reductions on our most popular models -- Civic, Accord and CR-V."
Effectively on 2010 model year vehicles, the price reductions start with a $1,000 reduction in MSRP from all Civic models. This reduction applies to both the Civic Sedan and Civic Coupe, which are Ontario-built. Even shoppers considering the potent, factory-tuned Civic Si can take advantage of the price cut.
Shoppers considering the Honda Accord for their next family sedan can save $1,000 on V6 powered models, and $500 on 4-cylinder powered units. Price cuts on the award-winning Accord also apply on its sporty coupe variants.
Finally, shoppers are being offered $1,500 off the price of all 2010 CR-V models. The CR-V is Honda’s popular compact crossover, and it might be the best value on the lot today. In addition to the reduced price, the model has just been given a facelift, more features, and more power for the 2010 model year.
It has been made even better on fuel, too. In fact, shoppers opting for the 2-wheel drive model can expect highway mileage as low as 7.1L / 100km. You also have Honda’s optional ‘Real Time’ four-wheel drive system for more confident year-round driving.
Chenkin comments on the updated 2010 CR-V. “CR-V combines the desired aspects of a compact car with the functionality of a sport-utility vehicle to make a stylish, yet capable year-round vehicle for Canadians. The 2010 CR-V represents even better value with significant upgrades and improvements.”
Enhanced functionality and reduced price aside, the CR-V is available with a full selection of Honda accessories to help tailor it to any lifestyle or outdoor sport. Also be sure to ask about winter tire packages for maximum safety.
While visiting your dealership, be sure to check out Honda’s latest product, the Accord Crosstour. With standard V6 power, a very unique look, and an eye for flexibility, this upscale car-like crossover builds on the proven platform of the Honda Accord with more room and capability.
The Accord Crosstour comes in several premium trim levels with available all-wheel drive and satellite-linked navigation. It is an ideal machine for busy families or young couples that love to travel and stay active all year round.
