Typhoon Ships with New xLF2 Table

Qualmark's New xLF TableHeavy Duty Workhorse
Qualmark has started shipping its market-leading Typhoon series of accelerated test systems with the new, second generation extra low frequency table - the xLF2. Engineered to tackle the rugged demands of HALT and HASS, this table is designed to handle amplified extremes over extended durations.

Extensive R&D testing results show that the xLF2 provides superior consistency at higher g levels – reaching maximums over 100 gRMS – and delivers significantly enhanced low frequency modulation. Re-torqueable bolts make any adjustments for PSD drift easily manageable.

Unbeatable Control Response
The heavy-duty xLF2 also more fully leverages the Typhoon’s advanced control system, executing a more precise response to Typhoon Manager’s vibration and thermal commands. The 14-bit PLC [Programmable Logic Controller] improves granular control fivefold enabling the Typhoon system to maintain ±1°C during soaks and virtually eliminating overshoots.

Latest Configuration Expands Options
New capabilities are enabled with the 14-bit controller platform including 3 levels of security [User, Technician, and Administrator], output boost settings, vibration throttle limits, and more.

If you’ve got the 14-bit controller and are looking for a more refined table response, or if test plans call for heavy use of your system, ask about upgrading to the new xLF2. If you’re running an obsolete control system (such as the the 3.11, “e” Series, and Entrelec), look into the PLC control upgrade + xLF2 combo today.
