Federal Network Security Lacking
Is Federal security really worse than Private Sector?

The vote may still be out on whether Federal network security ranks lower than the private sector. According to the General Accounting Office, last year the federal government’s overall network security received failing grades. The highest score of B- went to the Social Security Administration for their efforts to strengthen their systems. Some sources point out that large corporations suffer many of the same ills as the government, and have similar instances of cyber attacks. Click here for CSO Magazine article on the issue.
