Land of the Lost (June 5)
Has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall (Will Ferrell) has been sucked into a space-time vortex along with his research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist Will (Danny McBride). The trio must survive in an alternate universe full of dinosaurs and creatures from beyond our world with no weapons and few skills. Thanks to a primate named Chaka (Jorma Taccone), Dr. Rick and his crew will try to navigate safely out of this dimension. If they make it back, they’re heroes. The Proposal (June 19)
What do you do when you find out that you’re going to be deported? Get married! When high-powered book editor Margaret (Sandra Bullock) finds out that she could be deported to Canada, she forces her assistant Andrew (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her. The two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Alaska when the government investigates their relationship. Expect plenty of awkward moments as Margaret and Andrew try to sell the lie. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (June 24)
After Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) discovers the truth about the origins of the Transformers and their history on Earth, the evil Decepticons return to Earth on a mission to take him prisoner. There’s lots of action and special effects including an intense battle at the Giza pyramid complex where the Transformers face off against the Decepticons. Along with LaBeouf, much of the original cast returns including Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson. Rainn Wilson (from television’s The Office) will join the group as a college professor. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (July 4)
Ready for some prehistoric fun for the entire family? Diego, Manny and Sid return for this awesome sequel! This movie picks up where the crew left off in Ice Age: Meltdown. Scratte is still on the hunt for his beloved acorn while finding true love with a female saber tooth, Manny and Ellie are having a baby and Diego is fed up with being treated like a housecat. Sid, wanting a family of his own, steals dinosaur eggs and his mission takes him to an underground world where the group must rescue him from dinosaurs and other dangers.
