2008 Recap

The 2008 Skyward National Conference was held March 13-14 in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas at the Embassy Suites DFW North.  The sixth annual conference was a huge success as 246 registered attendees from around the globe attended, making this the largest national conference to date.

All of the Skyward staff members were accessible throughout the conference to meet one-on-one with customers who had questions about their software.  Cliff King (CEO of Skyward) talked extensively with current and prospective customers and listened to what they had to say about Skyward’s software.

The Solution Center offered exhibits of business partner product solutions that benefit school districts.  Platinum vendors USB-InRoll, ISCorp, PowerTrack, BMI Systems Group, Progress Software, American, RevTrak, and Scantron along with a handful of other vendors all had representatives on hand to answer questions.

Everyone was eager to take back what they learned and apply it to their work.  “Our secretaries use Excel to track building activity expenses.  I am excited about taking School-Based Activity Accounting back to my district,” said Kathleen Webb, IT director at Desoto Unified School District # 232 in Kansas.

Although the location may be changing, we promise that the Skyward National Conference will continue to provide the unmatched learning and networking opportunities you have come to expect.  See you in Florida!
