You are one of the 900 local government officials, legislators, nonprofit organizers, opinion leaders, media, and academics who receive Policy Perspective each month. Send us your research question and a one paragraph explanation of why your question merits deeper understanding. We will select a winner from all the entries and publish a short research paper based on your question.

We are looking for research questions that:
1) relate to a wide audience - an issue with a state or regional effect or focus
2) address a contemporary public policy issue that is timely.
