Runners and walkers lined up outside Deschutes Brewery on Bond Street and ran or walked the 5K to the brewery’s warehouse on Simpson Avenue. An after party was held at the Simpson location where the sponsor, Robberson Ford of course, handed out green derbies to all attendees. There was live music, food booths and contests & prizes for the best wearing of the green. Many Robberson employees were unrecognizable as they donned green wigs, face paint and striped hats and socks. It’s no wonder Team Robberson won an award for Best Dressed Team! Coordinators of Sunday’s event said they hope to continue the tradition for many years to come and have already announced the St. Patrick’s Day Dash next year will be held on Saturday, March 17th.
