Free maintenance has become one of the more sought-after perks of luxury car ownership in recent years. The Upgrade tacks on an additional two years/50,000 miles to the original four-year/50,000-mile term of the BMW Maintenance Program that came with the car when new, and is available on select BMW models dating back to 2004. This provides a six-year/100,000-mile maintenance umbrella for BMW owners.

 

What is included through the BMW Maintenance Program Upgrade? For starters, BMW will cover all engine oil changes and filter replacements, cabin filter replacements and engine air filter replacements for the entire term. Also provided are front and rear brake discs and pads, any brake fluid flushes or top-offs, engine drive belt replacements and manual transmission fluids. Even windshield wiper inserts are replaced through the BMW Maintenance Program Upgrade. Each component replacement and service is done according to the BMW’s maintenance schedule, which is custom tuned for every model, using only Original BMW Parts.

 

Moving beyond these standard wear items, the upgrade also takes care of items such as the clutch disc for manual transmission-equipped vehicles, oxygen sensors and spark plugs. Diesel engine-equipped BMWs also see their fuel filters replaced and the Diesel Exhaust Fluid reservoir filled up. BMW adds free vehicle inspections as part of the package, all performed by factory-trained BMW technicians, to make sure every aspect of your BMW remains in top shape.
