Holman Ford Lincoln is All Charged Up for Electric Vehicles

 Wouldn’t it be nice to never have to pay for gasoline for your car again? That dream is about to become a reality when Ford launches the Focus Electric Vehicle in the second half of 2012. This is not some micro-car that resembles a shoebox on wheels – this is the same Focus that we’ve all come to know and love, but instead of a gasoline engine under the hood, there is an electric motor driving the front wheels. This is not a hybrid – there is no gasoline engine at all, which means no tailpipe emissions.  You plug it in, charge it, and go. With more efficient charging than other electric vehicles on the market, the Focus Electric is ready to take America by storm. Imagine driving along silently, knowing that you’re not burning a drop of gas in the process. 
Holman Ford Lincoln in Maple Shade is ready to take this revolutionary step into the future. Right now, the staff is working on Ford’s training certification program for electric vehicles. So, when the first Focus Electric Vehicle hits the pavement, we’ll be ready to demonstrate it thoroughly to our customers and service it properly. Even better yet, our dealership has become the first in the region to install electric charging stations for the Focus. We’ve put in two charging stations – one inside the service shop, and one outside next to our Quick Lane. So, if you choose to be one of the pioneers who takes home one of these fantastic vehicles – you’ll have no worries when you bring it into us for service – we’ll have the ability to recharge it for you while we’re working on it.
Owners of these vehicles will also be signed up through Best Buy to have their own charging station installed at home. Best Buy will be working with electrical contractors to survey your home for the best spot, make sure your home’s electric system is ready for the installation, obtain any necessary permits, and get the installation done in an efficient and professional manner. Just imagine – no more stopping at gas stations – unless you happen to need a snack from their convenience store during your travels.
