Havenstein named
next CEO of SAIC

Walter P. Havenstein, former president and chief executive officer of BAE Systems Inc., has been chosen to succeed Ken Dahlberg as chief executive officer of SAIC Inc. on Sept. 21, following Dahlberg’s retirement. Dahlberg, whose retirement is consistent with SAIC’s mandatory retirement policy for executive officers, is slated to remain SAIC’s board chairman through the company’s June 2010 annual meeting.
