Five-Year Revenue Increase Places EDI Specialists On Fastest Growing List

Boston, MA – September 15, 2009 – EDI Specialists, the staffing and services firm focused on electronic data interchange, enterprise application integration and information technology, today announced that the firm appears in the 2009 America’s Fastest-Growing Staffing Companies report issued by Staffing Industry Analysts.
The annual report lists U.S. staffing firms that have achieved at least $1 million in annual sales while generating an average annual revenue growth of 25 percent or more from 2004 to 2008. Last year, 65 firms made the list, but this year the total shrunk to 52. EDI Specialists ranks 37th on the list based on 32% growth in annual average revenue during this time frame.
“The key factor to achieving our first year in the 25% Club was adapting to customer needs in this tough economic climate,” said EDI Specialists President and CEO Joseph Gilbody. “Listening and reacting to the feedback from our clients has helped us better service their IT staffing needs.”
The recent programs that have helped improve customer service include the addition of the Client Services Team, which provides a single point of contact for top-tier clients. The introduction of KeySource, an online staffing database, allows EDI Specialists to streamline the hiring process by integrating with client’s HR systems. The increasing staffing needs in healthcare have led to a dedicated staffing and consulting practice in that sector.
"We also created a five-year customer-service enhancement plan to ensure higher levels of service rather than just looking at revenue," Gilbody said. "The plan will help us continue to focus on customer service, which in turn should help us continue to appear on future Staffing Industry Analysts 25% Clubs."
