John Piekos, Senior Director of Engineering explains how to leverage information to get information

Bringing BI to the masses is very appealing to both non-technical users and power users. However, one of the biggest obstacles to a successful enterprise-wide BI deployment is end-user training. Download this new whitepaper, which is intended for companies that realize that getting the right business information to the right people at the right time is a vital business requirement. After reading this paper you'll understand how EasyAsk can help you not only overcome the challenges of deploying a pervasive BI within the enterprise but also accelerate its acceptance throughout your user community.

Keeping an Eye on BI
EasyAsk customers leverage the investment they have already made in existing BI tools to give business line managers a way to easily find the information they need by simply typing a question or phrase in plain English.

The great irony of BI today is that of all of the money spent on BI solutions, only a small percentage of an organization's user community are actually able to realize value from the BI investment. Unfortunately, it is the operational personnel that really need detailed tactical insight and access to key business information who are the furthest away from it. Business users who are the most able to act on the information quickly to nip problems in the bud or exploit potential opportunities lack easy access to relevant information in order to make timely and informed decisions. Find out how you can keep an eye on BI and how EasyAsk empowers business users and provides the simplicity of a search user experience, avoiding the complexity of traditional BI tools.

Investments in business intelligence and other information management solutions can add tremendous value to an organization, but only if people use such systems to improve decision-making. Many estimates place the penetration of BI technology at 20 percent or less throughout most organizations. For BI to become pervasive, companies must take steps to ensure that operational employees enjoy the same access to insights and reports as do analysts and senior executives. This Espresso Shot Web Seminar is now available, and it explores some of the ways that companies can deliver valuable insights to operational employees, and thus make BI more pervasive.
