LIBERTY CORNER, N.J. -- Kimber Petroleum Corp. has signed and agreement with Exxon Mobil Corp. to become a distributor of Exxon-branded motor fuel. Under terms of the agreement, Kimber Petroleum will convert its entire chain of service stations to the Exxon brand from Amoco. Conversion of Kimber Petroleum's 87 retail stores to the Exxon brand is scheduled to begin in April.

Bush Scales Back Cleanups
Will Not Seek Reinstatement of Superfund Taxes

Dwindling funds in the Superfund Trust Fund, coupled with reluctance on the part of Republicans to reimpose expired Superfund taxes, has caused the Bush Administration to scale-back the clean-up program for the time being. The taxes on the oil and petrochemical industries expired in 1995, and the Trust Fund has a balance of only $1.3 billion.
