FINDLAY, Ohio -- Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC last week promoted Clifford C. Cook to senior vice president, Supply, Distribution and Planning, the company announced.
“Cliff is recognized as an industry authority and an expert in the logistics aspect of our business,” Marathon Ashland President Gary Heminger said. “We look forward to the
leadership and innovation Cliff brings to MAP's combined crude oil and refined
products trading and logistics functions as well as a member of our senior officer group.”
A Battle Creek, Mich., native, Cook holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Detroit and an MBA from Boston University. Cook joined Marathon Oil Company in 1969 and has held a variety of positions within the Refining and the Crude Oil and Products Trading organizations. Cook was appointed vice president, Operations Planning and Products Supply in January 1998, and vice president, Supply, Distribution and Planning in January 2001.
