Callaway Cars announces Supercharged Corvette package
Callaway Cars has introduced the all new Callaway Corvette package, a specialist version of the C6 Corvette, built by Callaway and sold through selected Chevrolet dealers. The professionally engineered, seriously fast Callaway Corvette is fully warranted, emission compliant in all states and is priced $18,000 above the price of a standard C6.

The 2009 Callaway Corvette package provides a significant power increase to GM’s remarkable 6.2 liter LS3 engine.  An Eaton/Magnuson Roots-style supercharger elevates the car’s performance to 580 bhp with 565 lb-ft of torque and an estimated maximum velocity of 202 mph. Other Callaway Corvette components include an upgraded fuel system with high flow injectors, air/liquid intercooler and a Callaway honker cont air inlet system. The signature Callaway Double-D exhaust system, C16 engine hood painted to match with Refles Silver bulge and “Supercharged” insignias and Callaway side and rear badging complete the Callaway Corvette distinct look.

“With this supercharger package we have incorporated Callaway’s class-leading performance, while maintaining an accessible price range” said company founder Reeves Callaway. “The 2009 Callaway Corvette condenses our years of experience into a series of coordinated modifications, manufactured to precise specifications, and offered to the enthusiast in packages that treat the automobile as a well-tuned, systems-engineered entity.”
