Openlane: Prices increase over year-ago levels
Auction prices for all vehicle segments, including trucks, SUVs and minivans, in the US exceeded April 2008 levels, with car pricing trailing behind slightly, according to the May OPENLANE Price Index, which measures pricing trends by segment in the company's online marketplace . In addition, dealers are currently showing more interest in trucks in the US, while truck interest in Canada is on the decline. In Canada, minivan prices gained 20 percentage points in the past month alone.
