National Thank You Month

We’re celebrating National Thank You Month, this January.

With life being so fast paced, it can be difficult to slow down and be mindful of the little things people do each day. It is important to slow down and think, of those wonderful people in our lives deserve a little recognition for all they do.

Let’s count our blessings and take the time to think of those who go without. Perhaps volunteer time this month or donate to a charitable cause. Reach out to us on Facebook and let us know how you will be thankful this month J

Vehicle Comparison: The 2012 Acura MDX vs. the BMW X5
The MDX is just too much for the X5 to handle.

Photo: The 2012 Acura MDX
The 2012 Acura MDX and BMW X5 play in the luxury crossover arena where buyers are flocking for luxury, capability and space. While both vehicles share the same goal, the paths they tread to get there are somewhat divergent. The BMW is a solid choice, however; the Acura MDX matches or betters the X5 in virtually every category, making it the choice for buyers looking to maximize their enjoyment-per-dollar.

Two is One Too Many
Sequels that thankfully never happened.

Photo: Two is One Too Many
Some of the worst films ever made are, in fact, sequels to some of the best films ever made. While some have gotten it right (Godfather II, anyone?), many more have left people longing for the originals. Luckily, some studio executives had the wherewithal to put the kibosh on these prospective sequels.

Car Care: Using Genuine Replacement Parts
The right part makes all the difference.
Photo: Using Genuine Replacement Parts
It takes hundreds of thousands of man-hours and several years of design, engineering and testing work to bring a new car, truck, SUV or crossover to the market. With so much work going into developing and integrating every component of a new vehicle, and as one of the most expensive pieces of equipment most people own, it really doesn’t make sense to install replacement parts of dubious origin.
