CVTC: The Most Honored Faculty in the WTCS

Susan Frame continues a long line of CVTC faculty to receive statewide honors. Steve Schreiner, Ron Keys, Sandy Hume and Carmen Iannarelliólike Frameóare all recipients of the New Career and Technical Education Teacher Award. And all but Schreiner are still on the CVTC faculty. The award was begun in 1992. And CVTC leads all other WTCS colleges in recipients.

The older honor, the Career and Technical Education Teacher Award, has been bestowed since 1978. CVTC faculty have received this award from the Wisconsin Association of Career and Technical Education Association a dozen times since established in 1978. And CVTC leads all WTCS colleges in recipients. Just since 2000, Mary Welch, Susan Johnston, Grace Rich, Virginia Larson, Barbara Ries, John Frank and Linda Oliver have all been so honored.

So by the criteria for these two statewide awards, Chippewa Valley Technical College has the most honored faculty in the Wisconsin Technical College System!
