Radiopharmaceutical Code Update
HCPCS Update
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services posted the hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) rates for calendar year 2008. In our previous edition of EPOTN, there was an error in the HCPCS table. For codes 78491 and 78492, the radiopharmaceutical code should have been listed as A9555 and A9526. The corrected tables are below:
