MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Shell Oil Products US sold its c-stores in the Seattle market to PacWest Energy LLC, a joint venture between Shell Oil and Jacksons Food Stores. PacWest Energy acquired 66 Shell-branded retail locations in the Seattle area last week, plus the right to supply an additional 31 Shell-branded retail locations owned by independent dealers in the Seattle area, according to a Shell spokesperson. The sites will continue to operate under the Shell brand and will continue to sell Shell-branded fuels.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Fleet Card Fuels, Bakersfield, Calif., said that it has acquired Sabco Petroleum Inc., San Bernardino, Calif., reported The Central Valley Business Times. Sabco Petroleum distributes fuel to 58 Valero-branded gas stations in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties in California. Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Two Kum & Go stores in the Des Moines, Iowa, area received the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification, becoming the first convenience stores in Iowa with the distinction.
