APOPKA, Fla. -- Medallion Convenience Stores Inc., an Apopka, Fla., firm that owns more than 60 gas station/convenience stores in Central Florida, plans to build six new stores next year, according to a report by The Orlando Business Journal.

ISSAQUAH, Wash. -- Coca-Cola Co. products will soon be available again in Costco stores now that a pricing dispute with the wholesale club operator has been settled, reported the Associated Press. Spokesperson Scott Williamson told the news agency late last week that new Coke products should be sent to Costco stores soon, though he declined to be more specific.

CHICAGO -- Shoppers today are no longer filling their pantries once at the beginning of the week, but instead three times in smaller, fill-in occasions that one consumer researcher calls "quick trips."
