7-Eleven: More for Baltimore
Retailer targets 50 openings/year in Baltimore, D.C., Va.; renews with Danica
BALTIMORE, Md. -- 7-Eleven Inc. has tapped KLNB Retail as the exclusive brokerage firm to oversee an "aggressive" expansion program that targets the opening of approximately 50 stores annually in the greater Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia markets. Site selection activities will be led by seven KLNB Retail Specialists in a geographic region that encompasses all of Maryland and Washington, D.C., as well as nine counties throughout northern Virginia.

Downstream Marathon Changes
Peters succeeding retiring Sparkman; Kelley taking over as marketing senior VP
FINDLAY, Ohio -- Marathon Oil Corp. has shuffled its executive lineup with organizational changes within Marathon Petroleum Co. LLC, the company's wholly owned downstream subsidiary. These changes are all effective Jan. 1, 2010. J. Douglas Sparkman, currently senior vice president of transportation and logistics, will retire effective Jan. 1, 2010. Mary Ellen Peters, currently senior vice president of marketing, will succeed Sparkman. Thomas M. Kelley, currently director of crude supply and logistics, will succeed Peters.

Quick Chek on the Hudson
Retailer expanding in New York; honors 2009 vendors of the year
WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Two years ago, QuickChek was an unknown name to most Hudson Valley, N.Y., residents, but the company has since built eight convenience store/gas stations in Ulster and Orange counties, building a name for itself in a new market, according to a report in the Mid-Hudson News.
