LAS VEGAS -- Former President Bill Clinton addressed NACS membership at its closing general assembly with advice on embracing the national challenges of energy resources and childhood obesity. Applauding the industry for doing much to employ the country's workforce during the current recession, Clinton called America "the motherland of new, economic opportunity."

LAS VEGAS -- Everything from bee-keeping to leasing out human-resource activities provided insight on efficient and cost-cutting alternatives to petroleum and c-store retailers as NACS leadership presented the annual "Ideas 2 Go" at the 2009 NACS Show.

LAS VEGAS -- NACS announced the election of its 2009-2010 Executive Committee during its board of directors meeting at the NACS Show. Jay Ricker, president of Ricker Oil, was named the association's 2009-2010 chairman. Ricker also chairs the NACS Executive Committee.
