CSAC Working Group on Medical Marijuana Holds First Meeting This Week

Recent court decisions and confusion surrounding Proposition 215 and the Medical Marijuana Program Act were the primary topics of discussion.

April is County Government Month
CSAC is proud to announce that our own Assembly Member and former CSAC President Connie Conway (34th District) is authoring Assembly Concurrent Resolution 121, designating April 2010 as County Government Month in California. Each April, the nation’s counties celebrate National County Government Month to raise public awareness and understanding about the roles and responsibilities of county government in our communities. This year, the National Association of Counties (NACo) and CSAC are jointly recognizing April as County Government Month in California.

Governor Convenes Summit and Proposes Bills to Fight Obesity and Promote Healthy Living
