CPPA Welcomes Elizabeth Henke
The Center for Public Policy and Administration welcomes new staff member, Elizabeth Henke, who joins the team as the Master of Public Policy Program Manager.

Originally from Ohio, Elizabeth and her husband recently moved to Salt Lake City from Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and went on to earn a Master of Science in College Student Personnel.  Her past work experience has included academic advising, developmental education, scholars’ programming, alumni relations, and residence life.  She has also had the opportunity to teach educational leadership and social justice at Ohio University and Concordia University.

In her new position as the Master of Public Policy Program Manager, Elizabeth is looking forward to working with students to help them get the most of out of their time at the University of Utah.  She believes the University of Utah’s MPP graduates will have a vast and varied impact on the field of public policy, working in positions important to the future of both the public sector and private industry.

Since moving to Utah, Elizabeth is enjoying the abundant sunshine and the access to the amenities of a large city with the friendliness of a small town.  Elizabeth is an outdoor enthusiast, hiking every chance she gets, and she is looking forward to exploring the State’s National Parks.  In her free time, she loves to travel, read, hike, and snowshoe and describes herself as an “extremely slow” triathlete.

We are excited to have Elizabeth join the CPPA staff!  If you or someone you know is interested in pursuing an MPP from the University of Utah, contact Elizabeth to learn more about the program, and keep an eye out for her at future CPPA events.
