Wanted: Good Ideas
by Sara McCormick, CPPA

Utah has been declared the best managed state in the country.  But we can still improve!  Governor Herbert’s newly established Utah Advisory Commission to Optimize State Government is soliciting ideas and comments from state employees and the public on how to improve state government.
Do you have ideas on ways to optimize a government organization? Examples include:

  • Automating a process
  • Changing an organization's structure
  • Creating performance measurements
  • Developing a partnership or collaboration

Give your good ideas an opportunity to shine:  Submit ideas or comments on the Optimization Commission's website at http://performance.utah.gov/optimization.shtml
Utah Advisory Commission to Optimize State Government work is voluntary, independent, and advisory.  They are reviewing, assessing, rethinking, and making recommendations to Governor Herbert on how to improve Utah state government.  Don’t make them do it alone!!
