On behalf of the home for unwed mothers (called Buen Pastor, which means the Good Shepard), and special needs women (called Misericordia, which means House of Mercy) located in Honduras, Continental Motors Group has been collecting pop tabs.

These pop tabs are the materials used for a purse initiative which began in January 2009. The women are crocheting purses out of the pop tabs that we collect. This is their economic development intended to go towards their basic necessities such as shelter, food, clean water, shoes, etc.
