Gary’s Performance Corner
Welcome back to my Performance Corner! This month we are truly going to be talking about when the “Rubber meets the Road”.
On the track, whether it’s Drag Racing, Indy Car Racing, or everyone’s favorite NASCAR the stability of a vehicle’s tire pressure can easily mean a win or a loss, not to mention that overall safe handling of the vehicle could be compromised. This is why the Pro’s choose nitrogen for their tires. Nitrogen provides a more consistent tire pressure for better handling, enhanced safety, and even better, longer tire life! Now we’re talking!

New Meal Ideas Using Leftovers
Great suggestions for recycling last night's meal
Looking for a creative idea for dinner? Perhaps your refrigerator is stuffed with restaurant takeout boxes or Tupperware filled with leftovers from your own cooking. Car Care: When it’s Your 35,000-Mile Service
Simple tips can help save your investment.
At less than 35,000 miles, most new cars are still under warranty, so anything that breaks prematurely, such as a leaking brake caliper or a burned out wiper motor, should be fixed at no cost. However, warranties don’t generally cover wear and tear items like brake pads and wiper blades, so it’s important to check those regularly and replace as needed for proper function and safety. Regular maintenance is important to protect your investment and prevent problems later, after that new-car warranty expires.

Is Your Vehicle as Ready as You Are?
With spring break just around the corner, it’s a good time to start thinking about making sure your vehicle is in tip top shape so that you’re travel plans aren’t disrupted.
Here are a few tips to keep your vacation from “going south”:
· Remove clutter from your car. Vacuum the carpeting; Windex the windows; wipe the headlights with a soft, damp rag. Wash and wax your vehicle to remove winter salt and grime and protect the finish.
· Cooling system (radiator): flush and refill according to the service manual’s instructions. The level, condition and concentration of the coolant should be checked periodically. Important — first let the engine cool down before removing the radiator cap.
