Community Auto Group is sponsoring the Spring Nationals Charity Golf Classic at Wildcat Golf Club on April 25, 2012.
Created by the Royal Purple Raceway Foundation, the golf tournament benefits the Wounded Warrior Project and Marine Combat Outdoors.
The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history. They also strive to:
· To raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members.
· To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
· To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members
The mission of Marine Combat Outdoors is to provide Dream Hunts and Outdoor Adventures for severely wounded Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Navy Corpsmen. These hunting and fishing excursions play a vital role in the rehabilitation of these American heroes. Their goal is to allow these heroic warriors the opportunity to have an outdoor adventure of a lifetime and also to make sure that they understand that their service and sacrifice to our country are deeply appreciated.
The golf tournament is held in conjunction with the O’Reilly Spring Nationals, which will begin on Thursday, April 26 at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown.
