The Cognex® In-Sight ® 5400 vision sensor, the toughest and fastest available, was used to detect presence/absence of tamper seals and read the date and lot codes on fast-moving bottles. In addition to speed and accuracy, industrial M12 connectors provide rugged, sealed connections ... contributing to an IP67 (NEMA 6) rating. This demo also utilized an In-Sight 1000C vision sensor to perform color checks on the bottles.
