Now on DriveLiveTV: The 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500

OK, so we’ve all got stuff to do, right? Grocery shopping, picking the kids up from practice, helping your neighbor move that heavier-than-it-looks pull-out couch, or perhaps just a nice road trip. However, if you have real stuff to do, like grocery shopping for the kids' entire team, or helping your neighbor move that baby grand piano or perhaps a nice road trip with toys in tow, the 2008 Chevy Silverado is undoubtedly your best choice.

DRILL PRESS: A tall upright machine useful for suddenly snatching flat metal bar stock out of your hands so that it smacks you in the chest and flings your beer across the room, denting the freshly-painted part which you had carefully set in the corner where nothing could get to it.

WIRE WHEEL: Cleans paint off bolts and then throws them somewhere under the workbench with the speed of light. Also removes fingerprints and hard-earned calluses from fingers in about the time it takes you to say, ''What the...??''

Saturday Night at the Races ...
by K. Peddlar Bridges ...

Like most of the stories of my life or the memories of my past ... they never really start where they're set or end where they're heading. They always start off stage and then move toward the center of the frame. My memories of the Pines (The Pines Speedway) in Groveland, MA, from 1962 to 1966, start and move in just such a way, for they really begin in the Summer of 1961 at the West Peabody Speedway.
