Canon’s National Photography in the Parks Contest

Cast Your Vote Today and Help Him Win the Grand Prize

Andrew Green is a 16 year old Junior at Bedford, MA High.   His fascination for landscape photography began at age twelve during a family summer vacation to Yellowstone National Park. One day while walking around the geyser basin he attended a workshop offered by Canon and taught by some leading photographers for National Geographic and Outdoor Photography. Two hours later he was hooked.
Summer vacations spent hiking out west in the National Parks have continued to fuel his passion. Last summer while hiking in the canyons of Utah and Arizona, he took the photograph below of Calf Creek Falls in Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument.
Selected as a top ten finalist in the teen division of Canon’s 2009 National Photography In the Parks Contest, Andrew’s final award will be determined by the general public who will have the opportunity to select the winner starting October 27, 2009.

Please help him out by voting for his photograph at www.usa.canon.com/parks.
