More features and value for 2011 Accord
2011 Accord offers revamped looks, improved value

Honda’s engineers and designers have been busily tweaking their popular Accord model range to make the Canadian favourite an even better buy than ever before. In addition to proven safety, reliability and long-term value, the Accord has just been given new styling updates, improved fuel economy and a repackaged list of standard and optional features for the 2011 model year. If you’re interested in a family sedan or coupe with a track record that’s earned millions of loyal owners over the years, then now is the time for you to check out the Honda Accord.

"For 2011, the Accord evolves again with sharpened styling inside and out, fuel economy gains and a broader application of popular features," said Erik Berkman, vice president of Corporate Planning and Logistics for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "The Accord is designed to deliver a consistently rewarding ownership experience in the areas that matter most to sedan and coupe drivers."

Once shoppers decide between the Accord’s sensible four-door sedan and its sleek two-door coupe variant, they can then select from one of three available engines. Standard is a 2.4 litre, 177-horsepower four-cylinder unit that’s paired with a five-speed manual transmission. A high-performance, 190-horspeower version is available too—depending on the model selected. The third choice, Honda's proven 3.5 litre with 271 horsepower, is exactly what any shopper looking for the ultimate Honda Accord performance experience may want to consider.
In the area of fuel economy, Honda engineers have managed to extract even better results by virtue of tweaks to the vehicle's aerodynamics, gear ratios and internal engine friction, which is great news for anyone considering a new Accord.

As for styling, each 2011 Accord benefits from a more upscale and powerful presence regardless of the model selected. The sedan has been given an updated front grille, front bumper and rear deck lid, as well as a new wheel design. Likewise, the Accord Coupe gets its own more aggressive front grille, newly shaped bumper, enhanced tail lamps and unique new wheel design. It’s all part of Honda’s goal to deliver enhanced value throughout the Accord model range.

If it’s value that you’re looking for - especially where feature content and luxury is concerned, then take a moment to consider the new 2011 Accord SE Sedan. Striking a balance between value and luxury, this ‘Special Edition’ model features leather-trimmed seating, heated front seats, driver's-side power-lumbar support and a leather-trimmed steering wheel. Memory seating, a backup camera, steering-wheel mounted shift paddles and a navigation system are also available—as are a slew of dealer-installed accessories for customization to any lifestyle.

In addition to all the new features and added value, all Accord models remain equipped with the same high levels of safety equipment and occupant protection as always. When looking at the Accord, be sure to take note of the outstanding Honda safety features on every model including Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), advanced antilock brakes, Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure and a full complement of advanced airbags.
