Under this agreement, Ntirety becomes an affiliate company of CBE Technologies. CBE becomes the first independent New England-based IT services firm to offer its customers a suite of managed services that address database integrity and application performance, the heart of business processes, and the network infrastructure that applications run on.
Mike Geldart, Senior Manager of Computer Operations, at Lexington, Mass.-based Cubist Pharmaceuticals, a customer of CBE Technologies and Ntirety, stated, “Dealing with one firm for our database administration and IT infrastructure support needs is very appealing. Without the expense of a fully staffed IT department, we can simplify support for our sales force and executive users while securing the highest level of technical support. We get all this while using a combination of CBE’s world-class infrastructure to support Ntirety’s world-class remote database monitoring service.”
“With this investment in Ntirety, we’ve formalized an already strong business relationship that has grown through partnerships and common customers,” said Michael Corey, Ntirety CEO. “As a CBE Technologies company, Ntirety is offering its customers a world-class database operations center that is fully redundant, hardened against failures, and staffed 24x7. With CBE’s support we will also expand the depth and breadth of our service capabilities.”
“This strategic investment in Ntirety further illustrates CBE’s strategy of being the OneStop provider of managed IT services on the network and data infrastructure level,” explained Peter Cowie, CBE Technologies Chairman. “We envision customers benefiting from a utility computing model in which organizations purchase ‘always ready, always on’ computer resources when they need it much like they purchase electricity or water.”
