CARPROOF IN THE COMMUNITY
CELEBRITY CATWALK SUPPORTS THE KIDNEY FOUNDATION
Our very own Holden Rhodes, CarProof Co-Owner and Executive Vice-President and Corporate Counsel, took part in the Celebrity Men in a Fashion Event to raise funds and awareness in support of the Kidney Foundation of Canada. As one of the 12 local “celebrities” to walk the catwalk sporting the latest trends in men’s fashion, featuring the designs of David E. White, the event was able to raise a tremendous $48,000.
With roughly 2 million Canadians with (or at risk for) some degree of impaired kidney function, and thousands waiting for organ transplant, there is a great need across the country to bring awareness and raise funds for further medical research projects.
“Giving back to the community is an important part of being a responsible citizen and a responsible business owner,” said Holden Rhodes of his involvement in many community events and charities.
