Nanogel Expands Global Daylighting Partnerships

Countries in all corners of the world are looking toward a future in which we share a goal of conserving our energy resources. Cabot Nanogel is pleased that we are establishing new daylighting partnerships with companies in the Middle East and Europe, where energy-efficiency is a critical component of their countries’ growth strategies.  Introducing the new members of Nanogel's global network:

Europe

  • Zamil Glass Industries - Zamil Glass, a glass processing company located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has begun manufacturing Nanogel aerogel-filled glass units and polycarbonate panels. Sales offices are located in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Kuwait and Qatar. Agents for the company are based in Bangladesh, Lebanon, Philippines and Sri Lanka.
  • Energimac – Soluções de Climatização e Desenfumagem, Lda., Portugal, is producing and distributing aerogel-filled polycarbonate skylights.
  • Termodin'air - This company in Spain is a distribution partner for Nanogel aerogel-filled polycarbonate skylights.
  • Balkan Constructing Solutions - This company, based in Greece, is a market leader in the multiwall polycarbonate sheeting (GE, EMP or Poly-U) and distribution agent for GE Structured Products. They are also our new partner in the production and distribution of facade and curtainwall markets in Greece, Romania and Ukraine.
  • Miltyr - Scandinavia is the perfect location to make use of Nanogel aerogel-based daylighting insulation, where winters are extremely cold and the sun shines only a few hours every day.

North America

  • Birdair, Inc. - Based in Buffalo, NY, Birdair is the leading innovator in custom architectural roofing systems. They recently introduced TensothermTM, a next-generation roofing fabric incorporating thermal blankets made with Nanogel aerogel.
